New-York-based photographer Noah Kalina is a renowned photographer, and while he has exhibitions up all over the world, one of his most remarkable projects was created in his own home.
Twenty years ago, on January 11, 2000, Kalina started taking one picture of himself every day. He was just nineteen when he started the project, and he first shared the results in 2006. His video went viral, and he went on to share another update six years later in 2012. It’s been a while since we’ve seen another update from Kalina with this long-term project, but on January 11 this year, twenty years after he took his first photo for the clip, he’s given us another look into just how much a person changes day by day over the years.
Kalina’s project is a cool and jolting reminder of how little changes from day to day add up over the years to form a version of you that looks completely different over time. Take a look at his 20-year update below:
