As a kid (and as an adult), you may have hoped to wake up one day to be blessed with the power of invisibility. Or flight. Or super-strength!
Well, one guy didn’t get any of that, but he can do something really weird with his thumb.
Jacob Pina is a 21-year-old man who’s gone viral on TikTok for being able to extend his thumb. And no, it’s not a magic trick or some fancy digital editing.
Jacob’s thumb doesn’t look like that all the time. In an interview with Buzzfeed, he said that he found out in high school that he could extend his thumb by dislocating it. You can watch the super long thumb in action below, but be warned — the sound it makes is not for the faint of heart.

He can apparently extend the digit by about three and a half inches — it’s normally two inches long, but he can make it five and a half inches long!

It’s not just the one thumb, either — Jacob can do this with both thumbs, though one is shorter than the other when fully… erm… extended.

Thankfully, despite how it looks (and sounds), Jacob’s thumb doesn’t cause him any pain or discomfort. We guess it’ll just keep being a fun and very unique party trick!
