Trick shots in basketball are nothing new. We’ve seen many pros and hobbyists alike make baskets by bouncing balls off walls, throwing them over their heads, and making insanely long throws. And yet, none of them compare to the shot that a guy named Cree made in his own yard.
To be fair, Cree’s way of putting the ball in the basket was a bit more involved than merely throwing the ball. He spent two months (yes, this was a quarantine project) building a 70-step Rube Goldberg machine using all sorts of household and outdoor items. The machine took a month to build and another month to test, but when you see the “Swish Machine” in action, we think you’ll agree that it was worth it (if not a bit anxiety-inducing in some parts).
