Surprisingly, the cat mentioned in the title of this post isn’t a Loony Tunes character. Nope, Cornelius Cornbread is a real black cat, and even his eyebrows look too ridiculous to be true (but they, too, are very real).
According to Cornbread’s human, Karen Mellette, this four-year-old feline’s brows are simply due to a lack of hair above his eyes. But the effect is really something and makes this special kitty look very distinguished indeed.
Karen told Bored Panda that Cornbread and his siblings were all named after country dinner items, such as Beans and Coleslaw. They initially went to take Beans home, but instead, Cornbread won their hearts!
Cornbread came into Karen’s life when she needed him most, helping her to recover from the loss of her previous cat, Inky, and also putting some joy into her life when she was dealing with some personal health problems.
Cornbread isn’t the only kitty in this family’s lives either — Karen’s husband cares for a feral cat colony near his work, and a few of the feral cats are now happily domesticated and living as Cornbread’s adopted siblings.
Cornbread may look grumpy, but he’s actually a big sweetheart. He even cuddles right up to guests and may jump on your shoulder if you come to visit!
Cornbread may have a silly name and some very unique brows, but that’s what makes him special! His family loves him to bits, and so do his fans.
