If you want to create a stunning ice sculpture to wow the masses, you can spend years honing the fine craft of ice sculpting, or you can apparently just turn on the sprinklers in the middle of winter.
Just kidding. Don’t do that.
Still, when the sprinklers accidentally went off on a golf course in Apple Valley, CA, it’s hard to deny that the result was stunning.
According to ABC 7, the incident happened at the Jess Ranch Golf Course on Sunday morning, when temperatures dipped low enough to freeze water. The water then turned to ice on trees and rope rails. The result looked like something out of a Christmas fairy tale!
