Had life turned out differently for Pigcasso, she could have been someone’s dinner. Instead, she’s hosting her own art exhibitions and raising thousands for non-profits that benefit farm animals.

In case the name didn’t give it away, Pigcasso is a pig. She was rescued from a hog farm by her owner, Joanne.

Joanne, however, is more than just her owner and rescuer — she’s her partner and inspiration. Joanne noticed Pigcasso’s penchant for art and encouraged it. She also picks the colors, and the pig does the rest.

Pigcasso’s work can sell for up to $4,000, far more than what the average artist makes in a month.

Not bad for a farm animal.
