Take note: the National Park Service does not condone sacrificing your friends so you can survive a bear attack, but they do have some useful advice for anyone who encounters a wild bear in their natural habitat.

But of course, they didn’t want to leave anyone hanging who would otherwise be unsure about what to do if they were approached by a bear. So they followed up the poster with some great advice for nature enthusiasts:
Yep, as cute and cuddly as bears may look, it’s still best to stay away from them and follow the professional advice of the Park Service so you don’t end up as their next favorite chew toy. Stay safe, and don’t sacrifice your friends!
