The cutest romantic movie of 2020 continues to play out in real life, and we now have an update as to how America’s favorite quarantine couple is carrying on their budding romance.

A few days ago, we shared the story of 28-year-old Jeremy Cohen and 23-year-old Tori Cignarella. The two are neighbors in Brooklyn, NY, and when Jeremy saw Tori dancing on her roof, he wanted to ask her out. The problem, of course, is that the two also wanted to keep up with safe social distancing practices. So Jeremy sent Tori his number via drone, and she said yes.

The two then went on a “long-distance” date over video chat.

Now, we’ve been given another update: the two have gone on a real, in-person date while, again, still following social distancing practices. Jeremy surprised Tori by showing up in an inflatable plastic bubble. He brought her flowers, but he soon realized that it would be impossible to give them to her until he was, you know, out of the bubble. He documented their romantic stroll through the streets below:

It looks like Tori loved the goofy and sweet idea. I wonder what will happen next in their unlikely story!
