You may never own your own direwolf like the Starks on Game of Thrones, but you can pet a wolf at the incredible Predators of the Heart sanctuary.
The organization is way up north, extending from near Seattle up to the Vancouver area, so whether you’re US- or Canadian-based, you have the chance to visit. For about $200, you can book a two-hour tour with a guide, who will teach you about the sanctuary and guide you through interactions with the friendly wolves that live there. These aren’t just domesticated fluffy wild dogs, though — the sanctuary only takes in wolves that aren’t able to live out their lives in the wild, whatever the reason may be. The funds raised through tours are used to help take care of the animals and keep the sanctuary running.
If you aren’t convinced to check it out yet, look at these photos from the Predators of the Heart Facebook page and try to resist booking a ticket!
