It’s not often that you would read a headline as sensational as the one above, but you better believe it. The little flurry pup was found wandering along with an older dog in Jackson, Missouri. Upon looking closely, the rescuers noticed it has an additional tail growing out of his forehead. You can imagine how cute he would look chasing that.

Rescuers named the unicorn pup, “Narwhal.”

The rescuers decided to name the pup Narwhal, in reference to the toothed whales with a large tusk-like tooth pointing out of their heads. Ever since the rescue, Narwhal pictures have been shared more than a dozen times on Facebook, and it’s fair to say, he already got a huge fan base. People love his unique feature, and you can bet on him becoming an internet star soon.

The tail doesn’t wag and isn’t connected to anything.

Ever since his photos were uploaded on Facebook, a gazillion people have been asking if the tail does wag. For those wondering, it doesn’t. After inspecting the “unicorn tail,” the vet ruled that it is not connected to anything and has no real use. They further noted that there is no reason to remove Narwhal’s tail at the moment as it doesn’t affect him.

Narwhal will be up for adoption soon.

Finally, Narwhal isn’t slowing down any time soon. Like every puppy his age, he is playful and seems unbothered by the cute tail on its forehead. After he grows a bit more, the unicorn pup will be put up for adoption. Judging by the internet response, it is almost certain that he will find a loving foster home. Hopefully, we get to see more of him and his cute little tail as he grows up. Check out Mac the pitbull Facebook page
