Art isn’t limited to pencil, paint, or clay, and some artists find some seriously creative ways to express themselves. For jeweler and designer Anna Chan, seashells were the perfect medium to create pieces for a calendar, so she went to Robert Moses State Park to create stunning works of art. But then, she found that her hobby had turned into something more, so she began creating even more designs and animal portraits using what she found on the beach.
Anna told Bored Panda that she initially created her masterpieces at the beach over the course of five or six hours, but as she improved her craft and got more creative, she began working from home instead so that she could take a longer time with each individual creation. Now, her most detailed pieces can take multiple days to complete, but the work is worth it — her seashell art is stunning.
