The battle between Android and iPhone users has raged for as long as smartphones have existed, it seems, and neither side seems to ever want to budge.
Sure, iPhones are “trendier,” and many apps come out on iPhones before they become available on Android phones. But Android enthusiasts celebrate their phones’ customization options and beloved “back” button. What iPhone users always come back with, though, is that their phones are “faster” than their Android counterparts. But is that really true?
One TikTok video from @corylewis04 is challenging that theory by comparing two phones side by side — one an iPhone and one an Android. The same apps are selected at the same time on each phone to see which OS will open them faster. Though the difference is often only a matter of a fraction of a second, the winner in this round is still very clear — did your favorite come out ahead?

No matter what side you’re on, I think we can all appreciate the luxury of being able to criticize a computer that can fit in your pocket for loading a lot of fancy data in the time it takes to yawn.
