Some cats are content to live their lives indoors, while others may have been born feral and never quite quashed their desire to roam.
Jagger is one such kitty in Ireland, and her human, Aoife McAleer, decided to see what she got up to during her daily strolls. Aoife purchased a GPS tracker for Jagger’s collar, which is not only great for making sure you know where your outdoor (or indoor!) cat is at all times, but also for curious owners who want to know exactly what their cats get up to during the day or night.
Aoife got quite the surprise when she looked at Jagger’s results and noticed that she was visiting up to five houses every time she went out. Though Aoife told Bored Panda that she knew that her kitty visited two houses on her daily route, she was surprised to learn just how many friends Jagger had made in the neighborhood.
Aoife shared the video of Jagger’s route on TikTok, and it quickly went viral. Many people are wondering how many of their neighbors might also be BFFs with their own cats!
Once she learned where Jagger wandered off to, Aoife put the tracker on her other cat, Cookie, to see if she’d get the same results. It doesn’t look like Cookie is quite so social.
Since Jagger was a feral kitten when Aoife rescued her, it’s no wonder she hasn’t shaken the desire to roam. At least now, her owner can keep an eye on her and make sure she’s safe… and from the looks of it, she has a few people looking out for her, too!
