While most wedding photoshoots usually just involve the bride and groom, there are sometimes guests that make an appearance for these once-in-a-lifetime photos. Maybe the couple brings in a pet, or they might have their children be a part of the shoot.
When a young couple named Brooke and Drew got their wedding photos taken by Laurenda Marie Photography, though, they had an unexpected guest crash the shoot.
The shoot started out normal, with the bride and groom looking stunning and in love. Then, the newlyweds had a sudden pop of color join in.
Yep, a beautiful monarch butterfly decided to pay a visit. Maybe it was lured by the bouquet…
…Or maybe it was a visitor from afar attending the wedding in style.
You see, Brooke’s grandmother passed away just before she and Drew got engaged. And guess what animal Brooke’s grandmother loved?
That’s right: Monarch butterflies.
In a post sharing the photos on Facebook, Laurenda said of the special visitor, “She hung around for about an hour while we were out doing portraits, and was very adamant about getting in all of our shots!”
And of course, Brooke’s grandma had to get to know her new grandson as well!
We think it’s safe to say she approves of this special union!
Congrats to this lovely couple! This beautiful visit must have made the best day of their lives even better.
